The British Tractor Challenge 2006

We Did It! 2146 Tractors of all ages working in one field at one time (and not a lawn mower in sight!).

John And Lynda Collingborn would like to thank every single person who made this challenge the success it was. From companies like Vapormatic, to Haulage companies like FMH (Les Arnold), who promoted and supported the challenge, to Mrs Berol Partridge who was seen driving a Fordson Major in the challenge at the age of 79 (brill!). You all helped us fulfill John's dream to keep Britain farming.

In what can only be described as the Biggest Agricultural Event in The World, the British Tractor Challenge Team broke the Guinness World Record for the most working tractors at one time. The aim was for 2006. They reached 2141. A success exceeding all expectations.
