We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for attending The British Tractor Challenge 2006. Some of you have kindly shared your thoughts of the weekend and we've posted them below since they've touched us all greatly.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a wonderful record breaking tear jerking smokey dusty weekend that myself and over 20 of my friends had at Hullavington yesterday. We set off from a small village in north west of pembrokeshire called Eglwyswrw on 3 o clock friday afternoon, 2 lorries with 5 tractors each, 2 vans with caravans behind, 1 motor home and 1 car. We arrived on site around 7 o clock, It was truly an eye opener for all of us and yesterday when the announcement came that there was 2141 tractors in that field, it was a very happy moment for all of us because we can now say that we were there and we were part of it.

I do hope the British will hold the record for a long time, but then again it will be another challenge if we are defeated and we will be there again to support the challenge. Thank you once again.

Congratulations!

We all just wanted to say "A good job well done!" and thank you very much. The organisation was absolutely excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves not only on the actual day but also the week leading up to the 25th and have all taken home some wonderful memories. Special thanks also go to Wyndam and Shirley Mullins.

David Moss, David Thorne, Stan Kowle - the 3 idiots who tractor runned up from Devon! Matthew Doel (my son, who also took part) and all of the rest of the family and friends watching.

We just wanted to write to say what a fantastic weekend we have had at the tractor challenge this weekend - thank you!

It was amazing to be part of such an achievement, breaking the world record, but it was also fantastic to be around so many different tractors and the people who owned them.

The organisation was great and the atmosphere was excellent and so friendly, especially around the campsite as everyone drove their tractors round for a look!

After having such a brilliant weekend I have to say that I do hope that the world record is broken, just so that we can come to another event like this one and experience it all over again!!

Well done for organising such a success! and thank you for letting us share it! I hope you feel encouraged to organise something similar again.

Dawn and Stuart.

Great news well done. We are both so very pleased for you and everyone who took part. To do what you have done was a very big job, must be a great relief it is over and now to sit back and have a well earned rest. We look forward to our visit, we were definitely with you in spirit.

Once again from the X record holders, Australia, BLOODY WELL DONE! AND CONGRATULATIONS

All our love,
Vic, Vic, Muscat

PS,
We still play cricket.
